Facet Seven at heart is an organized approach to Vitality through Movement and Nutrition. The Facet Seven Ideology seeks to link different training and fitness modalities, while plugging in a proper nutrition regimen, achieving a state of being where we show up feeling pain-free and full of life every day.

We want to know that what we’re doing today is going to reinforce how we feel and show up for life, for the rest of our lives. Facet Seven’s well-rounded approach creates balance in our fitness programming which helps our clients to be truly functional people.

 

How does it all work?

As we all know, everyone is different. This means that a one-size-fits-all approach won’t work. So we have options for everyone in their pursuit of Complete Fitness.

FACETS is an acronym for a six-level program consisting of Flexibility, Agility, Core, Endurance, Toning and Strength. Once you create balance in each of the FACETS, you reach Facet Seven, which is Complete Fitness.

Flexibility

The absolute range of movement in a joint or series of joints, and length in muscles that cross the joints to induce bending or motion.

Agility

The ability to change the body's position efficiently which requires the integration of isolated movement skills using a combination of balance, coordination, speed and reflexes.

Core

The synchronization of core musculature with diaphragmatic breathing to facilitate spinal alignment, stabilization and focus during activity

offer_endurance

Endurance

The physical and mental ability to endure a prolonged stressful effort or activity. Applies to both muscular and cardiovascular.

offer_toning

Toning

The slight, continuous contraction of a muscle which in skeletal muscles aids in the body's maintenance of posture, its response to stimulation and in the return of blood to the heart.

offer_strength

Strength

The ability to exert muscular force to move one's body or an object or to resist being moved.
