If you look up passionate in the dictionary you’ll find a picture of Brittany Chestnut. From a young age Brittany has strived to be the best in everything she does. She has a background in Softball, Swimming, Crossfit, Weightlifting, and Running. In 2014 she finished 7th at the Northwest Crossfit regional after only being in the sport for less than a year. While training for the 2015 open she was blessed with the most amazing little boy a mommy could ask for. After his birth in May of 2015 she started training for the 2016 season and also started intense weightlifting training. In 2016 she once again finished 7th at a now more competitive regional. Just a week prior she finished 9th in the country as a 58kg weightlifter. She decided to go team for 2017. After finishing 6th this year she decided to restructure her life and dive into what she is really passionate about, training and helping others reach their fitness goals and improve their lives. Brittany is NASM, USAW, and Crossfit L1 certified and also has a B.S. in Exercise Science and Human Performance. She incorporates all aspects of her training, schooling and experience while working with a broad range of clients.
Whether it’s working with weekend warriors or competitive athletes, Monica’s goal is to have you moving your best so that you can excel at the activities that make you happy. Monica joined the Studio Fitness training team in 2013 after completing the National Academy Sports Medicine (NASM) Certification. Since then her focus on quality movement has earned her certifications in MovNat and Functional Movement Systems. Before becoming a personal trainer, Monica spent the majority of her life as a multi-sport athlete. In 2007, Monica reconnected with her first true passion: martial arts. She went on to compete and dominate in national nogi grappling tournaments. In 2011 she was offered the opportunity to compete for the first female MMA title under one of the top promotions in the country, Legacy Fighting Championship, which she accepted and won. Monica continues to pursue her education by attending various seminars and workshops in order to help you attain all of your current and future goals.
Eric has been NASM certified since 2014. Eric's passion for fitness has been life long. From being involved in sports and athletics from a young age to becoming a full time Red Cross certified lifeguard. He became a personal trainer because of his life long goal and journey to not only keep his body in peak physical condition but to spread the word of fitness and utilize his passion and knowledge to assist others in their pursuit of wellness and sustainable fitness routines. Eric loves working with athletes and specializes in speed, agility, quickness in addition to balance and core strengthening.
Forest became interested in the fitness industry as a result of his own experience as a client. In early 2003, he was diagnosed and successfully treated for colon cancer. He has been in full remission since late 2003, but as a result of his treatment, he became very obese, increasing from 180 to 216 pounds in 6 months. In 2007, he finally decided to see a personal fitness instructor and, after 14 months he had substantially improved. After getting serious about eating a healthy diet along with his exercise routine he began seeing results he had never experienced before. So, with the encouragement of his trainer, he entered in the over age 60 (“masters”) category of the Louisiana Bodybuilding competition, held each year in Lafayette. Except for himself, the over age 60 field was composed of very experienced bodybuilding competitors, all of whom had competed successfully as younger men. He placed second in the 2009 competition and in 2010, he competed again for the Louisiana over age 60 title, this time winning first place. Forest has given up competition for his real passion, which is training on general fitness for working people and retirees. Before working here, he enjoyed working with older clients ranging in age from 40 to late 70’s in Metairie, La. He is most empathetic with clients who are interested in improving their general fitness, physical endurance and functional strength, especially core strength from which all fitness ultimately stems. He is particularly adept at dealing with clients who have specific physical limitations and he designs training routines specifically tailored to those clients’ needs. Forest’s approach has been to emulate his own early experience as a personal fitness client, starting with gradual progression in exercise intensity to assist his clients to achieve their specific fitness goals. He monitors his clients’ metrics by periodically documenting progress in functional strength, agility and endurance as well as by measuring weight control, lean body mass and body measurements. Forest believes that your later life is not the end, it can be the beginning.
Matthew has been an ACE Certified personal trainer since 2017. Whether you’re training for a sport, a Tough Mudder, or you just want to lose a few pounds, Matthew will be able to help. Matthew has spent his entire life as an athlete and he wants to spread his passion for fitness to as many people as possible. His goal is to make training as fun and informative as possible while achieving the client’s desired results. Matthew incorporates functional weight training and places an emphasis on developing good movement patterns, core strength, mobility and flexibility. A former mechanical engineer who made a career leap into the fitness industry, Julie attended and received her diploma at the National Personal Training Institute. Her experience in the fitness industry started immediately after completion of her courses and has grown to include bodybuilding prep, tennis, MMA training and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Her love in health and fitness is only matched by her undeniable love for food. If she's not training, she's exploring or diving into good eats and recreating healthier more beneficial ways to do so. She believes in fitness and health and believes in enjoying every step of the way for not only a healthier lifestyle, but a happier and more fulfilling one all together.
Sarah was born and raised in Austin, TX and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008 with a B.S. in Kinesiology with an Emphasis on Teaching. She is also
National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer. Sarah holds four Texas teaching certificates: Physical Education K-12, Health K-12, English as a Second Language K-12, and Classroom Generalist K-6. Sarah taught elementary P.E. in Austin for 4 years where she was voted “Teacher of the Year’ at her campus by the staff as well as “Austin’s Fittest P.E. Teacher’ by public vote in Austin Fit Magazine. Sarah was also featured in front page of the Lifestyle section of the Austin American Statesman about coaching the next generation of runners. She moved to Houston 3 years ago and taught Middle School P.E. Sarah has coached running clubs at the elementary level, been the head coach of a middle school track and cross country team, and coached marathon training groups for adults of all ages training for their first marathon. Sarah has now been a full-time personal trainer for the last 2 years and loves coaching and training clients to be the best they can be. She hopes to instill a passion for fitness inside everyone.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas State University and nine years of experience in the fitness industry, Tony is the man to talk to if you want to achieve strength and muscle gain through your workouts. Tony is also a certified NASM and NFPT Personal Trainer and qualified to teach TRX and kettlebell workouts.
While at Texas State, Tony spent time on the football and rugby teams before going into powerlifting full-time.

Mandy Trichell always hated exercise. HATED it. Years of being the first one pummeled in dodge ball and the last one picked for kickball will do that to a person. She never played team sports in school, never practiced a martial art and could barely tolerate wrestling with her little brother as a kid. She went out of her way to avoid having to do anything physical.
In spring of 2005, at the age of 29, Mandy (very) reluctantly started working out when she realized her sedentary life had caught up with her. With an extra 50 pounds weighing her down, a new job and three children to keep up with, something had to change. Over the next few years, movement became a priority for Mandy. In addition to losing weight and gaining energy, her new passion was directly responsible for resolving several other issues she had been struggling with for years: clinical depression, insomnia, and chronic fatigue. This led her to get more interested in the why and how of fitness. As she learned more and shared more with people who asked, they began asking if she would work with them. This finally led Mandy to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer.
Mandy has now been been training professionally since 2007. She is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is also ADAPT L1 (parkour) and MovNat L2 certified, and is the co-founder of Urban Movement. She is devoted to helping people get those benefits and rewards that she loves so much from exercise. Beyond keeping her well, both mentally and physically, she feels it gives her the child-like energy that makes her feel unstoppable. Brady Roberts works with his clients to understand their fitness goals, creating a customized strategy for helping them achieve new personal milestones. In 2015, Brady was named one of Houston best fitness trainers by the Houston chronicle. He was also recently named one of the Houston area' s Top 3 Health Coaches by Thumbtack Professional Services. Since starting his services in 2006, Brady has taken an integrative approach to wellness. This includes providing his clients customized training and teaching them to make healthy choices in their day-to-day lives.
His brand of circuit training combines high-intensity aerobics and resistance training designed to be easy to follow, while targeting fat loss, building muscle and strengthening the heart. Brady enjoys working with clients of all ages and levels of physical condition.
The current and former clients include those with chronic conditions, patients undergoing rehabilitation for an injury, pregnant women, fitness competitors and cancer survivors. He is especially passionate about his work with cancer survivors, having conquered the disease himself several years ago.

Phill Biggs, Sr., discovered the benefits of personal training first hand after sustaining a serious back injury in high school. A former defensive back, he ruptured two discs in his spine in which he was hospitalized for. Through targeted exercise, he was able to correct his back issues and lead an active, healthy lifestyle. For the past 18 years, the spine’s interaction with body movement and exercise has been at the core of his personal training methods.Phil specializes in helping clients achieve new levels of fitness by strengthening the core and back. At age 46, Phil holds certifications from the International Sports Science Association and the National Federation of Professional Trainers as well as degrees from Park University and the University of the District of Columbia. He has also acquired two years of study in Physical Therapy and H.I.V./A.I.D.S and has spent three years teaching the value of proper nutrition and exercise.
Phil specializes in fat loss, building lean muscle, cardiovascular strengthening, and getting lasting results in a relaxed environment. His training utilizes strength, stamina, balance and core strength. He offers boot camps, kettle bell, bodyweight training and old fashion calisthenics.
Mayra understands the challenges we all face when it comes to making time to get out and exercise. She knows how difficult it is to get motivated. D’Ondra McGee has long been a fitness fan, and she absolutely loves what she does for a living. She concentrates on the fitness requirements of her clients and goes the extra mile to make sure that those needs are met. Although safety is at the forefront, D’Ondra puts much time and effort into making sure that her workouts are as dynamic, efficient and enjoyable as possible.
Graduating from the University of Houston with a M. Ed. and a B.S. in Exercise Science, D’Ondra is also a qualified A.C.E Personal Trainer and holds AFAA Group Exercise, INSANITY and Red Cross CPR/AED certifications.
D’Ondra has been a Studio Fitness personal trainer since 2009, and is also the Assistant Director of Fitness Programs at the Rice University Recreation Center.
When not helping our members achieve greater levels of fitness than they ever thought possible, D’Ondra still leads an extremely active lifestyle, listing tennis (she played competitively in college), road cycling, any kind of watersports and outdoor exercise, kickboxing and running with her Australian Shepherd as her hobbies. After receiving her bachelor's degree in Education from Concordia University in December 2004, Stephanie Sirek spent one year coaching tennis and cross country at Tolleson Union High School in Phoenix, Arizona. She joined the Lutheran High North family in 2006 where she served as a teacher and head cross country and track and field coach. During Stephanie’s tenure at LHN, she trained and produced several state champions in both sports. Stephanie’s passion for sports performance and teaching has translated into a new career as a Certified Personal Trainer. Stephanie currently trains as an independent personal trainer at Studio Fitness.

Growing up active in team sports kept Joy focused on being in her best physical shape. She found herself developing a passion and interest in health and the human body. As a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Joy received a B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science. In 2008, while in graduate school, she decided to work as a personal trainer because of the flexible hours. She immediately fell in love with the job and decided to pursue it as a career. Soon after, she received a Master of Science in Nutrition from Georgia State University and completed an internship at The Ohio State University to become a registered dietitian. Additionally, she is a certified personal trainer and certified weight loss specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Joy loves her career as a personal trainer because of the opportunity to impact lives. She believes in "living outside the norm" and pushing yourself to be your absolute best self. Her special interests include weight loss, nutrition, and building muscle. In addition to personal and group training, she also offers nutrition counseling, meal plans, and grocery store tours.

Karolyn is proud to have completed both Level 1 nutrition, and Level 2 master coaching certifications through Precision Nutrition, and offers amazing nutrition solution coaching as a registered ProCoach through her Change Program. She was once a certified yoga instructor and still uses those valuable skills to incorporate alignment and balance in her workouts. Karolyn holds her lifetime personal trainer certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She is TRX trained, has completed 3 triathlons, and boasts mad kitchen skills. Karolyn holds her BFA in photography, which seems unrelated but proves she has an eye for composition and detail, and the patience to achieve it.

Nutrition Coaching: The Change Program is perfect for those who are having trouble making the changes necessary to reach related fitness goals. It is a year-long program with monthly start dates, and requires a one-year commitment. Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

One of our most popular personal trainers, Michael has over 10 years of experience in the industry and fitness is his life. He gets no greater pleasure than passing on what he has learned so that others can enjoy the benefits of being in peak physical condition and getting the most out of life. Michael specializes in developing fitness programs for people with unique needs, such as seniors and those undergoing rehabilitation. His experience helps him to really improve functional fitness and quality of life. Whatever you might be seeking, be it weight loss, strength training or just improved general fitness - he has all the tips to help.
Michael picked up a lot of his skills as a physical therapy student but is also NASM certified and holds certificates from the International Fitness Professional Association. And his talents don't end there. He is also a computer science technician (HCC) and has done American Red Cross Training (CPR) as well as being a qualified nursing assistant.
When this fitness all-rounder has some time off, he can still be found in the gym or on the sports field, running, weight lifting, playing soccer or even exercising his brain with a good book.

I am an ACE certified personal trainer with advanced training in Special Populations and Nutrition. From my years of experience in general fitness to post-rehab for injuries, including hip and knee replacements, I have gained the knowledge and expertise to work with a broad base of clientele. With a degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at San Antonio, Rebecca understands the importance of human behavior and how it affects our everyday decisions, especially when it comes to exercise and leading a healthy lifestyle.
After interning with psychiatrists, Rebecca began to find that field wasn’t challenging enough for her but knew she could help exponentially with a more hands-on approach. Rebecca decided to get a personal training certification through ACE to help people achieve their health and fitness goals. She has a passion for helping the community in every aspect of their lives. It is a primary driver for her motivation.
Since an early age, Rebecca has led an active lifestyle. In high school, she was part of the marching band, ran everyday day after school and in college joined the running team. She then encouraged family and friends to work out and soon they came to her for advice. She is inspired to help others do the same through a variety of training methods including HIIT, Strength Training and Circuit training. She is also interested in soon obtaining a Nutrition Certification and a Yoga Instructor Certification.
John’s life has been surrounded by battles against weight and health. Growing up with obese parents, assisting his mother who passed away from cancer (after a 7-year battle) and his own personal loss of 30 pounds, it is easy to see why John strives to help people live healthier, better, and longer lives through health and fitness.
Born and raised in Houston, John participated in gymnastics, tap, and ballet in grade school. He enjoyed after-school basketball throughout his youth, played soccer in middle school, football from 8th grade through high school, and ran track in high school.
While attending Texas A&M, he played Ultimate Frisbee, rode his bicycle to class, and made time for the occasional trip to the weight room.
As pants got tighter, and regular tasks took seemingly more energy, which he felt he lacked, John decided to focus more on his health. Through this process (which included an injury), he re-evaluated his purpose in life, decided to aid people with their journey through health, and became a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
No matter the goal, John helps his clients understand how these 3 elements, with resistance training, yields better results and provides safer exercises on their journey to an improved self.
